OscarÔÇÖs cafe is a 15 minute walk or 2 minutes drive or there is a shell garage including a greggs just a 6 minute drive away.
The nearest pub is the Huntsman Inn, newby bridge. Approx 1.5 mile away
We would prefer that you didn't smoke on site and in particular, communal areas such as water points and the toilet block
Large group bookings are not allowed.
There is a minimum of 2 night stay for every pitch. There isn't a maximum however, campers staying for more than a week may be asked to move pitch to protect the grass.
We have quiet hours on site between 9:30pm and 8am, we ask you to consider your neighbours if playing music outside of these times and should be played within moderation
Yes, you can bring your own kayak/canoe as there is easy access to the lake, we strongly advise the use of life jackets
Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed on site with a lead. Please bring enough poo bags for your stay
If this is the case, inform us as soon as you can so that we can schedule for a late arrival to get you booked in efficiently as possible
Cars may drive up to their pitch and unload all the equip and once unloaded, the car must then come back to the designated car park. From the car park to any pitch it is a 30 seconds walk
Yes, there are water points on sight which are be easily located and accessed
There is no electric hook up as of yet, the site is off grid. Please come equipped with energy packs and portable chargers for phones, lights and torches
There is no wi-fi on site as of yet, 4G signal on most networks is strong
Yes, you can hire a fire pit at £15 for the duration of your stay and when it is returned, you will receive £5 back.
Yes we do sell firewood at £5 a bag and there is a limited amount of kindling.
Yes, BBQs and campfires in fire pits are allowed, as long as they are keep raised off the ground.
